Adventure Guides are an add-on or enhancement to your special day trip, pre-planned birthday long weekend or family vacation. We aren't planning your vacation, we are providing not to miss adventures that you won't be able to find on Yelp or from your friend of a friend of a friend who has a house in Maine. You should definitely visit the famous lighthouses and we know you need a lobster roll, but let's make sure you also find the secret cliff walk by your AirBnB and the not to miss cocktail bar with ocean views that won't show up on TripAdvisor. We will suggest adventures that will enhance your trip that you can fit into your vacation where you see fit.
Surprise Adventures are for the supreme adventure seekers! If you are a local to Maine, feel like you have a good lay of the land here or are just up for a totally surprise day trip - this is the perfect option for you. We'll create an adventure to a part of Maine (keeping in mind your travel distance limitations and wants/needs) that you've never been to or have always been curious about. Wake up morning of your Adventure Day, grab your packing list items and go. We encourage everyone in your adventure party to be surprised morning of - no peeking!
Full Trip Guides are for the planners! If you feel overwhelmed with planning your escape to Maine and would like some suggestions on how to fill your itinerary, we are happy to help. After a brief email discussion and filling out our questionnaire, you will receive an extensive custom + curated PDF sent to you in advance of your trip. You will be responsible for making reservations (if needed!), but you will have plenty of time to do so. If you want to make the absolute most of your time in Maine, check off some bucket list items and appease everyone you are traveling with, this option is for you! Please email us to discuss.

What will an Adventure Guide include?
Your custom guide will include suggested adventures to pursue on your own schedule. After we review your questionnaire, we'll put together the ultimate adventure list with suggestions for everything you love to do. Pursue them in order or place them where you see fit in your trip! Our goal will be to give you many options for adventures devoid of set times, so if the weather is acting up or your kid is cranky and needs an early nap, you can adjust and adapt accordingly. Your adventures can include, depending on preferences:
- Food + Drink Recommendations to satisfy every Foodie
- Scenic Walks and Trails for every level
- Kayak, Canoe and Boating Adventures
- Secret Beaches & Swimming Holes
- Shopping, Antiquing & Local Hidden Gems
- Kid & Dog Friendly Options
What will a Surprise Adventure include?
All that the Adventure Guide does, but with a more concrete timeline. Also, the adventure will be to a mystery destination and you won't know where you are headed until morning of (or night before for those who can't wait!) Recent Surprise Adventures for customers included day trips in Maine to: Waldoboro, Jackman, Wiscasset, Bath, Deer Isle and more!
What will a full trip guide include?
All that the Adventure Guide includes but more options + this will be sent in advance of your stay! If you would like an exhaustive list in every category (dining, adventures, shopping, hikes, etc.) plus the benefit of having this before you arrive in Maine, this option is for you.
How will I receive my Adventure Guide or Surprise Adventure? FUll Trip Guide?
We will deliver all Adventure Guides + Surprise Adventures to your hotel or AirBnB and you will receive them upon check-in! For all Full Trip Guides, these will be emailed and/or mailed in advance of your trip.

Oh, absolutely! We'd recommend pursing the Surprise Adventure option. I promise to curate an adventure to a part of Maine that you either haven't made it to yet or a place that deserves a second look with some off the beaten path itinerary items.
Can I gift this to my parents/friends/etc. who are making a trip to Maine?
Totally! If you'd like the Adventure Surprise/Guide to be complete to gift them, we'll have you fill out the questionnaire according to their preferences. If you'd like to give them a Gift Card and let them decide what type of Adventure they'd like to take, we recommend purchasing a Gift Card! We'll work with them to create an unforgettable adventure.
Will you book lodging?
We will not book any lodging, but would love to help and can provide suggestions on where to stay!
Do you make dining/Excursion reservations?
We do not make reservations. However, for all of our offerings (Adventure Guides, Surprise Adventures, Full Trip Guides), if we think a dining reservation will be necessary to secure a table, we will absolutely let you know in advance so you are able to grab one.
